Lead Red Bull’s U.S. government affairs strategy by monitoring and assessing political, legislative, and regulatory developments affecting the company, the beverage industry, and the broader business environment. Build and maintain strong relationships with policymakers, government agencies, trade associations, coalition partners, and external stakeholders to advance Red Bull’s interests and influence policy outcomes. Provide strategic guidance and clear policy recommendations to business leaders, manage external consultants and advocacy efforts, and drive cross-functional collaboration to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and support the company’s long-term objectives.
The purpose of this role is to lead the development and execution of Red Bull North America’s U.S. government affairs strategy, ensuring the business is well positioned to navigate evolving political, legislative, and regulatory matters. Reporting to the Senior Director, Government Affairs (North America), this role serves as a key liaison between the U.S. business, policymakers, industry associations, external advisors, and global stakeholders. The position advances Red Bull’s policy priorities, supports responsible industry engagement, identifies and mitigates regulatory risks, and delivers actionable insights that help inform business strategy and decision-making.

Build and maintain relationships with federal, state, and local policymakers, government officials, trade associations, industry coalitions, and other external stakeholders.
Monitor, analyze, and communicate developments in U.S. legislation, regulation, political activity, advocacy, and media that may affect Red Bull, its partners, customers, consumers, or the beverage category.
Develop, own and communicate Red Bull’s policy positions, strategic priorities, and practical solutions; assess risks and opportunities; and recommend appropriate engagement strategies for the U.S.
Manage political and government affairs consultants, coordinate coalition activity, and represent Red Bull in relevant trade associations and industry groups.
Provide timely government affairs insights, briefings, talking points, and policy communications to business leaders while coordinating with Science, Regulatory, Legal, Communications, Commercial, and global teams.
Engage and represent the company in meetings, hearings, conferences, stakeholder outreach, and other government affairs initiatives that advance Red Bull’s interests, strengthen the company’s reputation, and help mitigate regulatory barriers and risks.
Ensure compliance with lobbying, ethics, gift, reporting, and political activity requirements for North American SRGA team.
