The APC is Red Bull’s athlete high-performance accelerator enabling and empowering world-class Red Bull athletes to unveil their full potential, achieve sustained excellence and become truly outstanding performers within a highly innovative environment and a powerful global network of outstanding specialists.

As a Sports Data & AI Scientist, you will use data, analytics and AI to support decision-making across our global sports investments, including football and cycling. You will benchmark performance across the network, conduct deep-dive analyses and develop predictive models, data products and conversational AI that deliver actionable insights to coaches, performance staff and leadership.

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

  • Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Data Science, Statistics, Sports Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong expertise in data science, statistics, machine learning, Python and SQL.
  • Experience with performance analysis, predictive modelling, data products and AI applications.
  • Strong domain knowledge in sports.
  • Experience with athlete, training, competition, physiological and/or wearable data.
  • Ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
  • Travel 10-20%
