
The Trade Finance Senior Analyst, Convenience will be responsible for budget management, forecasting, month end reporting, and price and promotion guidance for the convenience channel. You will be the business partner to the sales departments providing insights and solutions to these teams. An important part of this role will ensure that Red Bull North America investment targets are achieved and communicated.
All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
Manage the Off-Premise Trade Budget of Red Bull’s Convenience channel; supporting accounts such as 7-Eleven, Circle K, Quiktrip, Wawa, and more.
Contribute to high accuracy of business plans, revised estimates, and be able to explain material variances to plan. Some FP&A responsibilities including month end close and volume/rate/mix analysis.
Ensure distribution of financial information (plan and actual) to budget owners by sending out reports, allowing system access, and conduct monthly review meetings with sales teams.
Promote efficiency and minimize time spent for report generation in order to increase time for analyses, commenting, and insights sharing.
Lead tactical and meaningful budget meetings by bringing new ideas and facts to the table, asking powerful questions with a solution mindset.
Influence cross functional teams by knowing details of the plans and can properly communicate risks and opportunities in a timely manner.
Maintenance of CPM (CRM system) accruals and ensure planning accuracy for Convenience accounts. Ensure prior and current year accruals are accurate.
Perform value chain analysis for existing and new potential retailers to support decision-making and mitigate exposure risk within the convenience channel.
Build a solid relationship with budget holders based on mutual respect and trust while challenging where necessary.
Will lead convenience channel guidance and compliance of Red Bull North America’s price guidelines. This person will use syndicated data and other retailer sources to track prices in market in order to identify and communicate outliers with clear reporting.
Perform regular profitability analysis on promotional activities by measuring lift, brand impact, and return on investment.
Familiar with measures in Circana such as Dollar Sales, Volume sales, base and incremental volume, and promotional lift.
Ability to put together PowerPoint presentations and present insights to finance and cross functional teams.
Understands how to measure return on investment across multiple tactics such as price reductions, coupons, and temporary distribution gains.
