The role of Manager, Brand Communications involves developing the messaging and communications strategy for Brand Marketing initiatives including but not limited to new product launches, occasions campaigns, and consumer activations. The role is responsible for managing and supporting execution of national communications campaigns ensuring they are delivered with consistent messaging across earned, managed, and owned channels, working collaboratively across the entire Media Network function. The underlying objective of this role is to maximize media coverage that influences and engages priority audiences with focus on earned social and traditional media. This role requires a communications professional with a track record of building media relationships, strong project management skills, and experience with cross-functional collaboration. Passion for the product, energy and a strong desire to express creativity and out-of-the-box thinking will round out the successful candidate. The role reports to the Director, Brand Communications.

Responsible for communications plans for brand marketing initiatives, driving cohesive messaging to maximize reach and engagement.
The key role is to craft impactful messages across third-party earned channels, managed, and owned media channels to enhance and solidify brand image.
The Communications Manager embodies Red Bull’s voice, ensuring the brand’s consistent representation in all Marketing, Media Network, and Communications-first activities.
The Brand Communications Manager will serve primarily as the Communications captain or Media Network lead for some Pillars, product launches, and key occasions campaigns throughout the year. This role is responsible for understanding the project, aligning success, and initiating positioning the right tools in the right place to achieve the desired outcome.
Integrate product communications opportunities into sports and culture activities.
Support Director, Brand Communications as the central point of contact and subject-matter Brand expert to all cross-functional teams across the organization.
Cultivate and maintain strong network of traditional and earned social media contacts.
Identify the appropriate media amplification channels for each project or campaign.
Generate media coverage from product and brand-centric stories that capitalize on news moments, highlight reasons to consume the product, give wings to people and ideas, fascinate and engage the consumer with the brand and products.
Create communications tools; may include editorial, photos or other graphical means to illustrate the brand and product in earned media.
Collaborate with the content team on ideating and commissioning video content for 3rd party earned media channels.
Pitch media and secure consistent earned coverage for the brand, products and occasions campaigns.
Maintain systems to track, optimize and forecast campaign successes.
Track success metrics, set-up campaign reporting and optimization cadence and apply learnings from previous / similar campaigns.
Produce plan and recap presentations that will be shared among key stakeholders.
Support team in maintaining a calendar of all product launches, occasion campaigns and consumer activations.
