Red Bull New York (“RBNY”) are one of 30 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS) and one of the league’s ten original charter clubs. Founded in 1996, RBNY has competed in MLS since its inception. RBNY’s First Team plays its home matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey and its Second Team plays its home matches at Montclair State University. RBNY are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull GmbH, after which the team is named.
RBNY’s First Team is a three-time MLS Supporters’ Shield winner and a two-time Conference Champion, while the Second Team is the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Champion. RBNY also operates one of the nation’s premier youth soccer development programs, spanning local partnerships across New York and New Jersey. Position Summary
The Manager, Field Marketing & Community Impact is responsible for driving the New York Red Bulls’ presence across the New York and New Jersey region through impactful fan engagement, community outreach, and grassroots marketing initiatives. This role leads the planning and execution of events and programs that build affinity for the club, support ticket sales objectives, and deepen our connection to local communities.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic marketer with a passion for soccer, strong event management experience, and a proven ability to bring the brand to life through meaningful experiences that inspire current and future fans.
All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
Plan, manage, and execute regional field marketing activations, festivals, and experiential events that drive brand awareness and fan acquisition.
Support the strategic relaunch and growth of local fan initiatives, including the pub program, youth soccer engagement, and grassroots outreach.
Collaborate with the marketing and ticketing teams to create activations that generate qualified leads and support ticket sales campaigns.
Ideation, procurement and management of field marketing giveaways.
Manage the fulfillment and tracking of donation requests and ticket distributions for community groups and charitable donations.
Support the planning, development, and execution of New York Red Bulls community programs.
Organize and maintain departmental data, including program metrics and KPIs, providing regular updates and summaries.
Manage casual part-time staff
Lead the logistics, staffing, and on-site management of large-scale events and activations, examples including World Cup 2026 soccer celebrations and match day fan zone.
Manage one (1) intern for the department each semester
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Partnerships, Game Presentation, Communications, Sales) to ensure cohesive event planning and brand integration.
Manage event budgets, timelines, and post-event recaps to measure impact and ROI.
