Red Bull launched in New Zealand in 1996, 9 years after the first can of Red Bull was sold in Austria in 1987. This created the launch of what was a whole new product category - Energy Drinks.

Today, Red Bull operates within 175 countries selling over 11.5 billion cans annually and growing! Above all, our people remain the essential ingredient in bringing the Red Bull brand to life. Our national headquarters is based in Ponsonby, one of Auckland's vibrant neighbourhoods; think "stylish boutiques meet independent bookshops and trendy cafes". Small galleries showcase Kiwi crafts and edgy modern art, while the foodie scene in the area pairs perfectly with Red Bull as it ranges from gourmet taco trucks and burger stands, in the market-like space of Ponsonby Central, to upscale gastropubs and seafood bistros.
