All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
Working as part of the Aerodynamic Development group, you will be involved in the aerodynamic concept generation, design, development, characterisation, and assessment of key components on the race car. This will involve the use of semi-empirical, CFD, wind tunnel testing methods and in some circumstances on-track testing.
Prepare, supervise, and execute aerodynamic test and development programs, from concept formation to finished race car design and extensive use of both CFD, wind tunnel and other tools to develop components, from initial idea to finished design.
Conduct wind tunnel testing (some shift work will be required) and reporting of results. Provide accurate and timely aero tests, actively contributing to an increase in the car performance.
Provide flexible attendance and attitude to work, both in line with the requirements of the role and any specific requirements of the projects.
Always work in a professional manner regardless of the task set and be pro-active in promoting a positive image for the department/team/sponsors.
