As Teamlead for Customs for Consumer products you'll be responsible for Customs compliant inbound and outbound consignments and an efficient management of customs processes. Furthermore, you'll continuously challenge and improve the strategic customs set-up in collaboration with HQ Customs department and official authorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

Owner of the strategic global customs and compliance set-up incl. documentation of relevant processes
Interface to Customs Authorities and HQ Customs
Driving efficiency with focus on cost and lead-time reductions through improved processes and authorisations
Regular compliance and risk analysis including definition and action of necessary measures
Active involvement in Operations Projects especially for market expansions
Create customs awareness and facilitate knowledge transfer to increase maturity level in the organisation

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in customs or in a similar role
Advanced experience in customs and tax law
Experience in the apparel/fashion industry as well as leadership skills are a plus
Advanced MS-Office (especially MS Excel)
SAP ERP/GTS knowledge is a plus
Team player with supportive mindset

High school diploma (Matura/Abitur) or equivalent education and customs legislation education; completed studies in Business Administration or Law, with specialization in customs legislation and/or logistics is a plus
Fluent in German and English
Travel 0-10%

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,063 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
