Communication Manager


The Communication Manager is responsible for the editorial brand communication through all media channels in a territory/country. She/he plans strategically the national communication approach as ‘Red Bull’s Editor in Chief’ and selects the relevant channels and fitting messages/topics to be communicated to the consumers. She/he defines and manages the corresponding content production and distribution. She/he also manages national corporate - and crisis - issues according to the international guidelines. Moreover she/he fulfils the role of a “correspondent” for the Red Bull Media House. She/he not only distributes content of own productions but also syndicates international content to national media outlets and supports the Red Bull Media House with information sharing, content licensing as well as providing creative input for Red Bull Media House properties (channels). In addition, the national Communication Manager implements the global roll out of the Red Bull Media House, setting up Red Bull Media Channels in the field of TV, digital (online, mobile), radio & print and coordinates the implementation of these channels into the local marketing mix in order to achieve maximum awareness and credibility, to build the brand and drive revenues.

Your experience includes:

(proven performance in)

  1. Broad experience of the Media Business (at least 5-10 years in the Media Business – in a position of seniority) and profound Marketing knowledge with focus on Media Production knowledge

  2. Strong management skills (Team of specialists, leading external media companies, freelances, etc…)

  3. EDV (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)

  4. Understanding the national media landscape (all channels: broadcast, print, web&new media), ideally already maintaining a strong network

  5. Editorial sense (being the national “Editor in Chief”): content & story developer (beyond the Red Bull world of content)

  6. Understanding of distribution (print, broadcast, web&new media)

  7. Broad production knowledge (photography, text, moving images)

  8. Strong marketing understanding and analytical skills
